Through events and targeted programs, alumni can expand their professional base, as well as enhance career opportunities for undergraduates. For information on anything listed below, email us at alumni@hartford.edu.

Alumni Gatherings

UHart hosts many in-person socializing and networking events designed to connect alumni with their fellow Hawks. Networking with fellow alumni is an avenue to help define personal and professional goals. Dates, times, and locations for these events are promoted through the many communications coming from the Alumni Association, including The Link.  If you are interested in hosting or organizing a local alumni event, please let us know.

Breakfast Breakthrough

The Alumni Association, the Women's Advancement Initiative, and the Women’s Business Center host a speaker series for women. These breakfasts provide opportunities to meet other alumnae, build relationships, and engage in conversations on important women’s issues and career advice.

TD Bank Leadership Series
Sponsored by TD Bank, the University of Hartford Entrepreneurial Center, and the University of Hartford Alumni Association, the TD Bank Business Leadership Series offers regular opportunities for alumni to enhance their leadership and professional skills, learning from distinguished University of Hartford faculty and area professionals. Courses can be taken individually or in a complete series, leading to a certificate in leadership. Learn more about these events by visiting our events calendar.

Express to Success

The mission of the Express to Success program is to pair current sophomores or juniors with alumni professionals for an intensive one-week mentoring experience during spring break. The student-alumni partnership, based on the student's major and career aspirations, is designed to match students with proven leaders in their chosen field. This alternative spring break program will provide real-world exposure and networking opportunities for students, and create meaningful mentor relationships for alumni.

Online and Adult Learning
The University of Hartford is responsive to an ever-growing population of online and distance learners by offering numerous programs designed to help alumni advance or change careers. The population of offerings will continue to grow as UHart accommodates a dynamic educational environment. Click here for more detailed information.

National Networking Nights

These are in-person networking events for alumni interested in defining their personal and professional brand, refining their online presence, and reconnecting with fellow Hawks. This fall, National Networking Nights were held in five cities accross the country, Boston, New York, Hartford, Fort Lauderdale, and San Francisco.
