Why do you volunteer for the University of Hartford and the Alumni Association? Why do you think it is important to give back to your alma mater?
I see this position as benefiting the student body and the overall student experience because many students believe their involvement ends after their time at the university. However, this is untrue. After the completion of their undergraduate degree, the student experience still continues through the Alumni Association. By being able to be the bridge to the student body and those who were previously in their place who are now going on to getting professions and continuing their education. I will be able to benefit the student body through the position by making connections with alumni to those who are on the same course they were. Also by expressing to those who are graduating the contributions and experience here at the University of Hartford does not need to stop at the end of your four years but rather it has just begun. I volunteer for the University of Hartford and the Alumni Association because I truly am proud to be a Hartford Hawk and will be after my years here. It is important to give back to ensure that the University is able to provide the opportunities like those provided to its Alumni
