Sunday, Oct. 9 Nearly Naked Mile—Freezin for a Reason

What? The Nearly Naked Mile—Freezin’ for a Reason! is an untimed one mile run/walk to raise money and clothing donations for a local homeless shelter! Students participating can drop their clothes at the start of the event and pick up a tank-top at the finish line. Students are asked to cover anything you would not want your grandmother to see, and get creative with your costumes! Sponsored by the Center for Community Service, SGA, and SAA.

When? 1–3 p.m.

  • 1 p.m. Registration & Check-in
  • 1:30 p.m. Costume Contest Judging
    • Prizes for the Best Costume and Most Creative.
  • 2 p.m. Race Start
  • 3 p.m. Shake Down: Food, Drinks, and music

Where? Race begins and ends in Alumni Plaza.

Cost? $5 or one donated piece of clothing.

Monday, Oct. 10 3rd Annual UHart Bakin' Like A Boss

What? UHart Bakin' Like A Boss is a cake decorating contest. Teams will choose theme at the beginning of the event and each team will be given different materials to decorate their cake. At the end of 2-hour time frame the judges will deliberate and decide the winner. Sponsored by University Dining Services and SAA.

There will be 12 teams of up to 5 students on each team.

When? 5–7 p.m.
