Hartt Dances to Feature Classics and New Works
The Hartt School Dance Division will present Hartt Dances, a spectacular dance concert featuring both classics and new works, will feature three guest choreographers. Viktor Plotnikov, Gregory Dolbashian, and Loni Landon will each feature a new work, with original score by Scott Comanzo. Performances will take place on Friday, April 26, at 7:30 p.m.; Saturday, April 27, at 2 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.; and Sunday, April 28, at 2 p.m., in Lincoln Theater. Regular admission is $20, with discounts for alumni, seniors, students, and groups. Communication Students and Alumni Gather for Career Mixer
Students and alumni of the School of Communication had a chance to meet each other recently at an Alumni-Student Career Mixer organized by the communication honor society, Lambda Pi Eta. Alumni talked about their jobs and offered helpful advice to the students. The highlight for all was the opportunity to network, with some students able to connect with alumni about internships and jobs. Read more
WELFund Announces 2013 Dorothy Goodwin Summer Scholars
Dorothy Goodwin inspired women to live beyond expectations and to realize their full potential. In her honor, the Women’s Education and Leadership Fund (WELFund) created the Dorothy Goodwin Summer Scholars Program in 2010. This highly competitive program provides an unparalleled experience each summer to a select group of female students who propose an innovative research or creative project in partnership with a faculty mentor.
