Relay for Life

1 p.m. through the night
The University’s collective effort to honor cancer survivors and to gather participants as a community in the fight against cancer. All money raised is donated to the American Cancer Society to fund life-saving research, patient support programs, advocacy efforts and cancer education. Call 860.768.4283 for information.


Hot off the … Fresh Ideas from the Artists Studio

Opening Reception

4:30 –7:30 p.m.
Silpe Gallery, Hartford Art School
Kick off the weekend at the opening reception of the 4th annual Hartford Art School Alumni Show. This exhibition features works of art from over 125 graduates spanning seven decades. Many works are available for purchase with proceeds benefiting the Hartford Art School Alumni Committee.

Classes Without Quizzes

A traditional favorite! Alumni and parents will have the opportunity to experience a University class as if they were students. Each class lasts 40 minutes to give you the opportunity to take two classes. Class descriptions and locations will be provided at the Registration area and will be titled Classes without Quizzes.

Your host for this delightful marketplace is Pat DiCosimo ’69. Browse the endless array of items created by talented alumni and parents, including pottery, jewelry, photography and so much more. It is never too early to start holiday shopping!


Musician Spotlight

Nat Kennedy ’66 will host this musical extravaganza featuring a diverse selection of alumni musicians, who will be performing throughout the afternoon. Pull up a lawn chair or picnic blanket and enjoy the day.

Need a break from all of the activity on campus? Stop by the Rejuvenation Station for a complimentary chair massage or pamper yourself with a hand massage. Perhaps you would like to experience the wonders of reflexology, acupressure or chair yoga? Chocolate, strawberries and sparkling beverages are provided.
